On Day 1, Kandy Airport/CMB Airport (120 kilometers / approximately four hours):
After arriving at the CMB Airport, you will be met by a representative of Tripgo Tours and Travels as well as your chauffeur guide who speaks English and Arabic. You will then be directed to the hotel in Kandy.Upon arrival, you may wish to visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage and the Mawanella Spice Garden. Then we have to stay overnight in kandy.
On Day 2, Kandy:
This hill’s capital is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following an agreement in 1815, the British formally acquired this city after it had been the last stronghold of the Sinhalese kings during Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. According to Buddhists from all over the world, Kandy, the location of the Dalada Maligawa – Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha – is one of the holiest places in the world. Located nearby are the remains of the Royal Palace (“Maha Wasala”), Palle Wasala, which was the residence of the Queens, and the Audience Hall, as well as Natha Devala and Vishnu Devala. Bathing pavilion (“Ulpenge”) is located near the lake, and in the center of the lake is an island called “Kiri Samudraya” (milky white ocean) that was the summer residence of the kings. It is today regarded as a cultural center for Buddhism, arts, crafts, dance, music, and other activities. During daily cultural performances held throughout the city, visitors may witness these dances and musical performances.
In the morning, we will have breakfast and then depart for Kandy for a city tour. Various cultural shows and the Temple of Tooth can be arranged as an optional excursion.Then we have to stay overnight in kandy.
On Day 3, Kandy / Nuwara Eliya (80 Km’s / Approx. 02 & ½ Hrs):
In the morning, you will have breakfast and check-out. After that, you will drive to Nuwara Eliya. In the course of the trip, we will visit the Ramboda Water Falls, the tea plantations, and the tea factory. We have to stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
On Day 4, Nuwara Eliya:
With its picturesque landscape and temperate climate, it is a city in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It means “city of light” in Sinhala. It is the most important place in Sri Lanka for the production of tea and is located at an elevation of 1,868 meters (6,128 feet). Sri Lanka’s highest mountain, Pidurutalagala, dominates the city. With gushing streams and thundering waterfalls, it is considered the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country. Located on a beautiful tropical island, this city has the highest altitude. A healthy climate is combined with spectacular views of valleys, wildflower meadows, mountains, and vegetation. It is difficult to believe that Nuwara Eliya is only 180 km away from hot and humid Colombo. It is possible to enjoy boating or fishing on Lake Gregory as well as golfing, trout fishing, and visiting Victoria Park in the city. A well-used and attractive oasis, Victoria Park is one of the city’s most popular parks. The city is home to several famous waterfalls.
Afterward, proceed to Nuwara Eliya for breakfast and a tour of the city. We have to stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
On Day 5, Nuwara Eliya / Bentota (210Km’s / Approx. 05 hrs):
Once breakfast has been served and check-out has been completed, proceed to Bentota. St. Clair’s Waterfall and Devon Waterfall can be seen from the viewpoints. A white water rafting excursion can be arranged at Kitulgala enroute.We have stay overnight in Bentota.
On Day,Bentota:
Hotel/beach breakfast and leisure time throughout the day. Optimal activities include a boat ride on the Madhu River, a visit to the turtle farm, and various water sports. We have to stay overnight in Bentota.
On Day, Bentota / Airport (120Km’s / Approx. 01 & ½ hrs):
In the morning, breakfast is served and checkout is completed. You will be directed to CMB Airport.
